Since 2006

Opulentia began its journey in 2006 as Pearl Brokers, founded by Jacques van der Walt and Ignatius van Niekerk. Jacques brought over nine years of experience as a financial advisor with Old Mutual, specialising in Long-Term Insurance (Life), Investments, and Health Benefits.

In 2012, Pearl Brokers was rebranded to Opulentia Financial Services, inspired by the Latin term for “Wealth,” signifying the creation of a distinctive and trusted brand.
